Elan Café and The Sanderson Hotel

On a spontaneous trip to London with my BBF and Blogger @GeorginaHart we were discovering the mode cafés and bars.

Elan Café

We have always been a fan of the amazing shots that Elan Café has on it's Instagram. It has quickly become a top blogging spot due to it's incredibly aesthetically pleasing interior. It offers an extremely chic feel that mentally transports you to a location you'd see within a Golden Age movie, you could easily spot Audery Hepburn reading a fashion magazine with a bagel on the table in this joint.

I was no surprise that it was going to be incredibly busy, even on a Wednesday. Everyone was snapping pictures, you can't resist because it looks just as magical in person as it does online. The staff looked very used to girls with their DSLRS and iPhones out, dodging shots as they carried plates of food. It was quite funny actually because probably most of the people there probably only went there to take a photograph, me and G being two of those. The presentation was lovely, every table has a pot of flowers with a bowl of rough cut sugar cubes. The plush velvet seats are very comfy and help give a VIP treatment to anyone eating.

It is in London so prices are higher, a pot of tea is £6.50... though I suppose you're paying more for the experience.

The sweet potato fries were served in a gorgeous copper pot, giving it an extra touch of class. The plush velvet seats gave a VIP feel, these seats are everywhere in the café and look stunning next to the famous flower wall spot that we luckily managed to grab a seat next to.

I would definitely recommend visiting here purely just to see the interior alone. I've never been to a café like this, it provides escapism from the world outside.

The Sanderson Hotel

First of all I have commend this hotel on their exception seating, how awesome are these stalls! This hotel bar was so relaxed, friendly and an easy atmosphere to tuck yourself into. The staff were professional, welcoming and actually smiled, I've found that waiters in London can usually have a cold service, but not in here.

This hotel offered lots of different seating area, providing a location for all size groups. Me and G sat at the bar and ordered a drink. For such a posh looking place I thought that the prices were going to be extortionate, but they weren't.

The outside seating area is just as relaxing, if not more so than indoors. It has a waterfall feature, fun seating including a swing chair floating above the decking and outdoor heaters. Sadly we couldn't spend too much longer here because we were attending an event, but we probably would've spent our whole afternoon here if not.
