MERMAID HAIR CARE

I've had my mermaid hair for almost two weeks now and I think it may be my favourite hair that I have ever had.

I'm going to go through how I have managed to keep the colour so bright for this long as very pigmented hair dyes do not last very long.

I used Crazy Color's Alpine Green, Baby Blue and Canary Yellow to create my mermaid coloured locks, this dye is really good because a tiny amount can spread so far. When I dyed my hair I mixed each colour in separate containers and also mixed conditioner in with the dye.

This is so not as much hair dye is being used and you have some left for a different day and it's also good to give your hair a deep condition every once in a while, especially if you have dyed your hair as much as me.

This photo was taken the day after I dyed it:

I didn't have to wash for my hair for about five days, I know what you're thinking "ew gross, five days..." my hair wasn't greasy what so ever, I only really washed it to give it some moisture.

A tip to keeping bright coloured hair: wash your hair with COLD WATER, that doesn't mean you have to be pouring the ice bucket challenge over your head, just make it a cool temperature and your hair colour will not run as much as it would if you were to wash it with hot/warm water.

Put the tiniest amount of shampoo on it, more on your roots so your hair doesn't get greasy and condition the ends.

Leave your hair to dry naturally. Only get the hair dryer out when your hair is almost dry, when you use the hair dryer make sure to use heat spray or a small amount of oil on your hair so that the dryer won't make your ends all frizzy.
