WHITE...LAVENDER.. TURQUOISE

I am moving away soon and I thought that I would take full advantage of the fact that my job lets me look however I want, this means I can have any hair colour that I please... plus I fancied a change.

I don't yet have a Youtube channel so all of my videos are on my instagram page: ferneythefairy.

I woke up one morning and thought "I want blue hair" so I went out and purchased some bleach to dye my roots. The best way to achieve a brighter or pastel look is to have the lightest hair possible.

I used Schwarzkopf's 'Live Colour Lightener' to bleach my roots, I had to do this twice to match the colour of my already white ends.

The next step was to buy a blue shade that I liked, I have purchased Pixie Lott's Paint dye before when I dyed my hair pink, this time I went for a different shade: Hawaii. The hair dye smells like a smoothie and comes with sachets of 'fade' shampoo, the shampoo works wonders and really does make your hair fade if you feel the blue is too bright.

The dye on my hair was a very light pastel lavender colour, not what I was expecting.

Although I really love Lavender hair, I just didn't feel like It suited me. I have seen this colour on many ladies and they all look lovely with it, I just wasn't feeling it on me.

So... I ordered more hair dye! Most people by this point would've given up, but I want my blue hair!

I went onto Amazon and ordered Crazy Colour hair dye, I purchased 3 shades for £4 each: Alpine, Baby Blue and Canary Yellow.

With these colours I wanted to create a mermaid ombré.

I am over the moon with the results, I have used this hair dye before when I have been going for the more crazy colours.

I am so in love with my mermaid ombré hair! I can't wait style it with braids and give hair inspo tips.

Make sure to check out my instagram and Lookbook :D
