Prom Hair

I haven't posted in a while! I have recently seen a lot of pretty dresses and prom looks. It got me thinking about my prom 2 years ago and how I would've dressed differently because it was my only prom!

The look I created is very girly and very..very pink!

I got this dress at a Superdry Outlet store, they have so many different colour and pattern varieties in this dress, so if the pink is too much you could opt for the white, navy or floral option.

This dress is £29.99, I think that is a very good price for a prom dress as there is this idea that prom dresses have to cost a bomb. Some retailers have a special prom section that can advertise dresses from £40-£160.

I think to avoid those expensive prices shop in the regular sections like normal and choose a dress that has something that little bit extra. That could be the colour, neckline, embellishment or length.

My dress has a sweat-heart neck line which makes it even more girly!

Because my dress is such a statement I went for natural Make-up with a pop of colour that matches the dress.

Again because the dress is a statement I didn't add any accessories because I didn't want the look to be too much to look at.

H A I R

I love this hairstyle because it is so elegant and pretty. I have always wanted to do this hairstyle and the other day I leant how to.

It couldn't be easier! ALl you have to do is back comb those roots to add volume, curl your hair and pin the different curly strands across the back of your head.

1. For the front I collected my fringe and pulled it back into a small ponytail at the back of head (above the rose crown) I flipped the pony tail to hide the hair-band.

2. When you have done this, pull tiny strands at the front so that you get some loose pretty hairs hanging down in front of your face.

3. Curl all of the hair that is down and simply take strands and pin them across the back of your head. For example I would take a strand from the left side of my head, twist the strand, lightly back comb with your fingers and then pin the strand to the right side.

4. Keep repeating this process to however you like it and you have created your own curly up do.
